Fusilli Draws Rough

2,70 €

The Fusilli Draws Rough are presented with the characteristic matte golden wheat color, an unmistakable sign of bronze drawing. The spiral shape is well defined and regular, with narrow and deep windings that create cavities visible even to the naked eye. To the touch the surface is rough and irregular, as it must be a handcrafted paste. Each fusillo has slight differences that underline the traditional processing. In the plate it retains the seasoning in every curve, being particularly suitable for rich and creamy sauces.

Fusilli Draws Rough – The Spiral That Does Not Let Go of the Seasoning

The perfect geometry for the gravy

There is a pasta format that, in its own shape, was designed by nature to embrace the seasoning better than any other: fusillo. Its enveloping spiral creates cavities, curves and surfaces that trap every drop of gravy in a natural way. When to this geometry is added the roughness of the bronze drawing of the Pastificio Artigiano Cav. Giuseppe Cocco, the result is simply unbeatable.

Three dimensions of grip

The fusillo works on several levels at the same time: the outer spiral collects the gravy in its windings, the rough surface created by the bronze drawing holds it on every millimeter and the inner channel accumulates it with each bite. It’s not just pasta — it’s a seasoning capture system designed for perfection.

Semolina, water and mastery

Durum wheat semolina, grown between Arizona and Italy and milled entirely in Italy, guarantees 13g of protein per 100g and a structure that holds the 12 minutes of cooking without giving in. A fusillo that keeps the spiral intact, that does not flatten and that preserves all its character until the last bite.

The most versatile format of Italian cuisine

The fusilli are the great transformers of pasta: perfect with a slow and generous Neapolitan ragù, extraordinary with the Genoese pesto that lurks in every spiral, impeccable in the summer cold pasta salads with vegetables and tuna, and surprising baked with streamlined cheeses. With the Cocco rough drawing, each version reaches its maximum potential.
